Zander Labs is a leader in neuroadaptive technology, pioneering innovative solutions to enhance human-computer interaction. We are embarking on the NAFAS project, a landmark 30 million EUR initiative set to revolutionize the field.

We are  pioneering the development of wearable tools that blend the boundaries between human and machine, revolutionizing how people interact with technology. Our  internship position lasts minimum 6 months, during which candidates can acquire more experience in their studies and / or work on final projects for their bachelor’s degrees. They will get guidance from our colleagues at our office in Berlin. 

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Assisting in the development of product concepts and prototypes for wearable tools.

  • Conducting design research to inform product development.

  • Collaborating with engineers to optimize form, function, and user experience.

  • Creating 3D models, renderings, and other design assets.

  • Creating prototypes using rapid prototyping methods.

  • Participating in brainstorming sessions and offering fresh design ideas.

Job requirements

We expect the following from prospective candidates:

  • Currently enrolled in at least the second year of a Bachelor's program in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related field.

  • Strong skills in 3D modeling software (e.g., SolidWorks, Rhino, Fusion 360).

  • Experience in 3D printing and prototype generation

  • Good understanding of ergonomics and human-centered design principles.

  • Passion for technology and wearable devices.

  • Proactive, creative, and eager to learn in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.

  • Strong communication skills in English (both written and spoken), German is a plus

  • Minimum 6 months time on site in our office in Berlin
